These three domain names were auctioned on Bido last Friday (Feb 26th, 2010). When the auctions ended, the high bids did not meet the seller’s BidoPrice. After the auctions ended, our team stepped up and worked with the seller as well as the potential buyer to help bridge the gap. The members of the community who helped vote these domains in to auction will share 2% of the total sales (or $400 combined), just for participating in Bido’s Vote For Profits program.
Grats on getting them sold. Those are very reasonable prices I think for those domains and a good chunk of change for the seller. Is this a new trend in “brokering” by Bido?
Thats Great Sahar. I was one of the voters this time round. Voted 4, 5 & 6 on Gymnastics.net, thats $51.85 to add to the $20 or so I have earned so far. Not bad for casually logging in while at work every now and again and voting on the domains I think will sell. Its actually good fun. Add that to the hundreds I have made selling domains on Bido and also the hundreds I have made buying a few good deals and reselling elsewhere and I have made a tidy profit. As you know, It paid for my xmas Carribean holiday so the missus was happy.
You know, I really think the people who are always quick to put Bido down are missing the point. Much of the inventory and tld’s are not going to be everyones cup of tea and that will NEVER change but like domaining as a whole, if you invest a little time researching what sells and keeping an eye out for those little gems then you will make money. Pocket change for some people at the moment but the place is still new so thats to be expected. If you put the stats into a line-graph, i know what direction the line is moving in right now. Onwards and upwards matey

Thanks for the vote of confidence! The inventory will get better, there is a major improvement coming to the Vote For Profits program that will help us do that. With combination of now driving higher quality inventory through Bido, you will see things improve, and that participants learn faster how to find gems and bring them to the front lines.
