A few points before we get to the domains.
1. BidoPrice: The absolute minimum dollar amount a seller is willing to accept to send an item to auction (learn more)
2. Priced to sell, by you: Over 90% of domains listed on on Bido are voted on by the community via our Vote For Profits program (excluding auction accelerations).
3. Voting works: While overall Vote For Profits works extremely well (so far, Bido’s sales ratio is about 1:6 for 2010, on hundreds of domains already sold), we feel it can be improved. Being one of the most innovative companies in the space (according to a recent Domain name Wire survey), we have not yet said the final word here, and will surely continue and improve. Expect further innovation in this area in the very near future from us.
4. Bid high, bid often: Even if you believe the BidoPrice of an item is too high, if BidoPrice isn’t met, seller may still choose the highest bid within 24 hrs.
Some of today’s domain names on Bido:
Require.com $35,000.00 BidoPrice
Police.Net $40,000.00 BidoPrice
Ponys.com $12,500.00 BidoPrice
Superheroes.info $350.00 BidoPrice

Good luck to all !

Great domains but completely overpriced. It’s good you are putting effort in, but I see none of these selling..

We always view things through our own lens. There is some sort of market agreement when it comes to “trading value” and I guess from that perspective, they may be overpriced. But, for the one with a vision, he sees it differently. I remember hundreds of times, at various auctions, I would pay far more than others, because I saw what others did not (and of course it happened many times the other way around).
My suggestion is just bid what you are comfortable paying, and in case it doesn’t meet it’s BidoPrice, a seller may still agree to sell. We’ve seen it before many times (see Bido Sales Archive page, look for items with (BP) tag next to them).
Best,
Sahar
Thank you for the warm welcome, Sahar. It’s great to be a part of the Bido team.
Just because it’s a one-word .com doesn’t mean it’s automatically worth a ton.
Require.com is right there with hanging.com, sporadically.com, postponements.com, foreseeing.com and other names that don’t have any inherent value - No one is typing them in and you can’t monetize them once the user even finds your site because the topics are so broad.
I think the only one that will sell today is superhero.info, if any.
These are BIN prices at BEST, not auction prices. Is bido.com trying to be a buydomains.com or a sedo???? It’s identity is confusing.
