Following “
What Sells On Bido?” blog post a couple of days ago, I Just got off the phone with one of our buyers (as well as a partner in the
Bido Guarantee Program) and he indicated his group is looking to expand their domain portfolio and in the next 60 days focus on the acquisition of four letter .com domains (names such as
PENM.COM,
AVOF.COM,
RBMR.COM,
NMVA.COM, etc) . Their spending budget is approximately USD 250K and the idea is to acquire many great names at attractive prices. If you have any, here’s a great opportunity to make some money relatively quickly.

Good luck to all,

Bido is the best way to sell domains fast…
Thanks for the heads up Sahar!
Done
Would love to hear more stories like this one i.e. a Guarantee Partner is looking for sports domains, travel domains, health domains, etc.
Please be sure to have him look out for bonq.com :-0

I have these to sell:
UWUX.com
VHUL.com
PTRY.com
ZOVL.com
YAVL.com
OODX.com
DBYU.com
and several others……
Sahar, do you know if they are looking for any kind of LLLL.coms - also the ones with few or none premium letters?
I have 4eqp.com
Equipment
or End Quantity Pricing Promotional Pricing Code
Do you know if your partners or buyers have a preferred time to view live auctions? I’ve seen a few 4L.com’s go through lately without a bid at a great price.
Additionally, if your partners are still looking I have four LLLL.com domains going to auction at 11am today.
Best of luck to the team and the partners. You’ve certainly developed a great auction platform at Bido.com - I love the social twist!

Hi Kris,
I don’t know specifics however I do know this buyer has certain criteria of four letter names they are looking for, so not all will fly.
Good luck with your listings,
Best,
Sahar
On the back of this post I decided to give bido.com and I have to say Sahar I have not been impressed with the results
The first domain HRRO.com had a Bido price of $150 got voted to auction within 2 minutes of appearing on the ticker but ultimately got no bids. Fair enough, I guess the market has spoken.
However what was more disappointing was the guaranteed auction of OMOU.com: a nearly 10 year old pronouncable LLLL domain, right in the sweet spot apparently of what sells on Bido. After parting with 9 bucks to get it in front of your “top buyers in the domain industry” in a whole week the domain got a single bid of $28.

Hi Steve,
Two things in play here:
1. Live auction: While our sales ratio is still by far the best in the industry considering the volume we sell per month, it still means many won’t sell. As for voting, there are improvements that we will introduce in the near future to make those who vote more accountable than currently, while at the same time, those new improvements will provide further education how to vote smarter.
2. Bido Guarantee Program: The program is designed for exposure, not results per se. We’ve done our job, and the buyers, which most are highly recognizable in the industry, decide what to bid and what not to bid. Really, not much I can think of we could have done different here. But as always, we listen, and will improve over time. How could it be different? feel free to let us know here.
Best,
Sahar
