Previous & Current Businesses: Success In Motion

As time progresses more of what we built is being put to the test, from technical point of view as well business. It is telling. Yea, we had some failures along the way, however, this post is about the things that worked.

1. FuneralHomes.com (and NDP): FuneralHomes.com is the #1 site for Funeral Homes online , by far (funeral industry is a 12 Billion dollar a year industry). The site delivers more calls, more business to funeral homes than any other. As I parted ways with RMG a little while ago I’m not part of it anymore, but I still take pride of what we built there. Took years to build the technologies, and more to execute, and it gave us a lot of experience, but more important, faith that if we focus on building a great product, if we focus on providing value to others, we too may succeed.

2. Flowchart.com, simply put by others:

The Most Powerful Diagramming Program Of Its Type

You can read more about it here, here, here, here, here, and here. Flowcharting is a multi billion dollar industry. In 1999, Visio (market leader) alone was sold for over a billion to MS.

3. Bido as you may know is our auction platform. It is in its very early days now so we’re very thankful to all the early adopters who help us, have faith in us, and participate. All our attention these days is on Bido (our staff currently is 25 strong) and if the two above are any indication, Bido too shall change the landscapes of the industries which it participates in. Domains today, others tomorrow. There’s much to come in then next few months and I hope you are watching, as there’s much to learn.

The key to all the above is FAITH. None could happen if you don’t believe in yourself. I have this philosophy that if you don’t believe in yourself why should you expect another to believe in you? An if no one believes in you, why would it matter if you believe in yourself?

Have a great day !

    Sahar,

All three of them have this in common: name platform. The name helps with visibility and the platform contains the intellectual property. This is what is hard to replicate.

It has been an interesting hourney…

    I personally enjoy the Bido.com Service…
    Nice bunch of people there…
And always eager to help in a timely fashion…

    My suggestion this week is:

put jump buttons at the top right that lead to:

    Bido.com/Byting
    Bido.com/Selling

    and…
a section that features the end product…
domains that are sold — then have been developed…
a spot where those of us that want to - can submit
those sites to a sort of Bido Developed Domains Directory..
A way for the developers that come to Bido - to further network together to encourage and support each other…
yet another reason for us to keep coming back nad to hang around longer… (look around more - smile - see other names we also want.. etc…)

    Keep up the good work..

  3. 3 dnClips.com - More than just domain Feeds

The last line should be - “Even if no one believes in you, atleast you should believe in yourself”
