in Bido.
Today we sold about
30 domains on Bido. With a healthy sales volume, we expect more sellers to list, and subsequently, more buyers to attend the auctions. We believe that starting from the bottom and building a solid foundation is better than starting from the top, and building a house of cards. It is cool to sell something for a million dollars however, we think it is
more important to sell thousands of items that combined are worth a million dollars. One is based on luck (right item, right timing), the other is based on a solid foundation of sales volume. So today, we are changing our policy for
accelerated auctions as well as all future Bido Credits (where applicable): If your Bido Credit results in a transaction, we will give you a Bido Credit for future use. That means, if you bought a Bido Credit, accelerated an auction, and the domain was sold, you will find a new Bido Credit loaded in your account right afterward. Since this is a new policy, anyone who ever sold a domain on Bido and used a Bido Credit to do so, within the next 24hrs you will find a free Bido Credit in your account, ready to be used either for future accelerations or listing a
reserve auction.
Best,
Sahar

I believe that is a good policy which will incentivize acceleration of better domains. It will still cost you to accelerate a domain which does not sell.
What if the Bido credit was a promotional one, do we still receive an extra credit if a transaction goes through?

Yes.
