Many may find this as a surprise and I’m sure most are not even familiar with the name. If you are not, I think you should. Derek is one of the individuals in the space who started relatively late but followed a proven formula, working the numbers, and making it happen. For me, watching Derek’s progress is a pleasure. For me, he represents the possibilities in the domain business today.

BEST OVERALL SOLUTION: NAME MEDIA
Hands down NAME MEDIA should win this one. They make more sales than anyone else, they are active on forums, buying portfolios, strong monetization channels, strong sales channels. Simply put, they are making things happen.
DOMAIN HALL OF FAME: MICHAEL BERKENS
Michael Berkens, a friend, a neighbor, owner of one of the top portfolios in the space, as well as the man behind the highly popular blog The Domains. Michael has been making waves all year long on his blog, from auction ethics, standing strong behind the ICA, to discussing many issues no other domainer would talk about.
