		<description>There's nothing wrong with the other TLDs but dot com is king and will remain so as far down the road as I can see. So don't base your brands on anything else.

That said, I thought the del.icio.us brand and domain right clever but it didn't "type" all that well.</description>

Then again, sometimes startups can't even get their desired names for a "reasonable" price, as the domain owner tries to hold out until the buyer grows bigger and gets more cash. That's maybe what happened with Delicious. 

Then the only alternatives are to pick a different brand to start with, or go at it with a weird substitute until the cash is there.</description>
