These pictures and story blow my mind. I am old enough that my first impression when I hear Siberia is a Russian Goolags. I think that was the term for Russian prisons back in the 60’s anyway. We always heard that no Russian, or anyone else for that matter, wanted to be sent to Siberia. What a difference from perception to reality. Looks like a decent place to live and work from those pictures. I hope there were no KGB hiding in the backgroung making everyone smile :)Very interesting and encouraging for someone my age. The cold war was a drag.
Amazing to see how I use to think of Siberia in old “cold war”? images but when I see these pictures it is incredible to see the opportunities that the internet has offered in so many ways. It puts on a personal touch and makes the world a much smaller place. We must keep dreams and hopes alive. Thanks for sharing.

Agree Michael, it does make the world feels a little smaller.

Nice pics
Russia and Ukraine are the best to outsource coding related projects. These folks have strong programming background and experience and of course the prices can’t compare to the western rates.
Siberia looks a lot like my high school in Chicago in the 1970’s. I have not been back since, but thanks for the memories.
