What made you start domaining and when did you start?
My first home run came when I acquired an LLL.com for $100 and sold
it for $18,750. I realized then that this was what I wanted to do with
my life.

LLL.com (three letters domain, ex: xyz.com)) for 100$ in 2006/2007? Doesn’t sound right.

May not sound right, but it is. No one was more surprised then me.

While DNJournal’s Sales Lists will always have a place in my reading queue, Justin’s NameBio vision filled a void in the domaining world: archived sales data. Now, the decision to register/buy a domain is made a little easier by searching for related sales. Dig a little deeper and you can get a feel for which keywords people seem to be buying lately, which you can then plug into tools like PremiumDrops/DRT to filter huge drop lists and find the “good names.” I’m glad to see the domaining industry is treating Justin well, since he as certainly contributed a lot to it.
