Earlier this evening, while reviewing the Domains on Ebay
page I noticed a listing for Ramp.com. It’s not often that you see a
domain of this quality listed on the Ebay Marketplace. After visiting
the auction listing I became suspicious for a couple of reasons. One,
the seller has a monumental feedback of (2). Second, the rather short
auction description states that the “domain name being sold pursuant to court order.”?I was gearing up to fire off a question to the seller but decided to
check a few of the domain forums first. Namepros.com member Randomo was
already on top of it and had received an explanation from the seller
earlier today. The explanation reads that Ramp.com is owned by Ramp
Corporation which is being liquidated by U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the
Southern District of New York (read the full post here).
