As I sat in the Hummer limo from the Las Vegas airport to the Venetian Hotel, I spoke to my travel partner about his plans for the week. I further had the pleasure to be sitting with this intelligent young man during most of the Traffic show in Las Vegas. Although he was just 15, his observations were extremely informative. He watched the show not just as a newbie, but also with an understanding of what his age group looks for when going on the web.
That 15 year old was my son Jeffrey.
I spent few minutes talking with Jeffrey and with his family background, solid negotiation skills (declined without blinking a mid five figure offer), I predict a big future for the kid. Jeffrey, don’t forget me years from now if I come asking for a job!

so THAT’s who 111 bidding was — on the opposite side of the room
and i couldn’t see him. that and i now know he was shorter than
the rest!
great to have such a sharp mind and an early start - best wishes to
you jeffrey.
btw dear, i just noticed your “search and wait box” — that is
actually profound. perfectly conveys many things instantly. it
should be the industry’s logo!

That search box is interesting and shows, just as it is innovative, the world is slow to adapt, to accept, and hardly notices them.

Whew, Sahar!
Given the late hour here on the west coast, I initially read this post that it was YOUR 15 year old son…which I knew didn’t sound quite right since I’m sure that you couldn’t possibly be any older than 30 or so yourself.
Good for him. Bright future for the kid, I’m sure. It speaks well for his father as well, and the upbringing he has given Jeffrey. No doubt in 10 years his name will be known in the domain industry.
