Spyware.com, Not Coming To The Auction Block

Just to notify those who thought of bidding on Spyware.com soon, after much interest privately we have changed our strategy and will not be auctioning it off after all. In all likelihood there will be a new owner for the domain name before end of year.

    Hi,
Like what you did to the conceptualist for the holiday!
    Happy Holiday!

Likely just a sales tactic to get someone to commit to the purchase. If that is the case then that would be consistent will most things auction related. Something always stinks. All auctions are inherently dishonest, and most all things related to auctions involve intellectual dishonesty. I can’t prove it and I don’t care.

The fact that Bill can’t prove his assertion and doesn’t care that he can’t, …
    reduces Bill’s credibility to zippo.

I think the guy has a right to use whatever strategy he finds most effective in selling his property. I don’t see anything dishonest about it at all. Had he received bids at auction under specific rule, and then pulled it for a better deal, that might be an issue. But this is like someone saying they’re planning place an ad in the paper to sell their car, and then finds a buyer before they do.

The “I cant prove it and I dont care” statement reminds me of the question “Are you ignorant or apathetic?”.. and the response was “I dont know and I don’t care”. Which answers the question.. naturally. Happy Holidays all.

Effecting marketing non the less. Either way, the name is getting sold, which makes for a great Christmas gift for Jeff and Sahar.

    Sahar,

You sure you don’t have a PHD in Marketing? Very effective tactics you have been implementing this past month all around.

    Happy Holidays!
