Second article, titled “MOBI Investors face Stiff Fines; Prison Time” which Owen says the story is developing on a private dotMobi forum. Owen writes:
A US Postal Inspectors and Bureau of Alcohol Firearms and Tobacco report is about to blow the lid off dotMOBI. Nearly 650K of the 700K registrants are in violation of the law. They do not have mandatory MOBI-complaint sites and those with PPC pages have links that are not MOBI-complaint- a double fine; and possibly opening the door for a 25-life sentence.
And third, titled “Forum Leader Surrenders to Authorities; TFC Raids Eminent on 40 Chicago Suburb locations“, where Owen says:
Computers, records, MOBI propaganda seized…. developing

I’m sure it’s a spoof of some kind but he is making it look like a news story or first hand information which is potential libelous I would think.
I don’t see the humor.
Seems like a running joke he has in response to a bunch of MOBI forum threads that attack him, frank, elliot and you too.
This is a terrible tragedy. I feel so sorry about the wife of the “Mobi” man. This news make me feel really sad. I don’t understand. Please forgive my English. Why this Mobi man do such a thing? Please explain me. How such thing happen? I feel sad, really sad for Mobi man and Mobi man’s wife.

This is irresponsible and out of control.
On October 19th I lost a good friend to suicide.
Owen joking about suicide is totally irresponsible, childish and hurtful to those who have lost loved ones to this tragic, painful, shocking passing.
dotMobi is simply a domain extension.

Frager is upset that some mobi enthusiasts keep pointing out the error in his thinking. So instead of making better, more factual arguments he is resorting to slander. At least he later added “HUMOR” and his silly liability waiver to avoid a lawsuit.
But now alas in true Frager form he has now deleted all the blog posts that you are referring to and is now calling for any .mobi owner to come forth and tell him who is making $1,000 a day from their .mobi. After all the ridicule he has spewed towards .mobi owners and developers, who in their right mind would show him anything? He’s lost his credibility and is out of control, now setting unrealistic expectations of success on sites that have been active for a few months in a new TLD.
He clearly doesn’t get it. His loss, not mine.
He also doesn’t seem to grasp what the “mobile experience” can be. He has stated that a phone is for calling. Sure the web experience MAT be different on a PC, but there are so many amazing things to come with the mobile experience - so amazing that many globally are returning home and continuing that experience from the couch!
I agree completely with what Anthony stated. Owen’s comments are egregious to the entire domain community, not just mTLD.

I suppose Owen followed his own advice and took the nefarious commentary HOME and flushed it down the drain. This “walking loaf” needs to appologize to everyone on his blog.
I so happy Mobi man is live. So this is like joke? This is not so funny in my country. Who make such a bad joke? He or she must have like problem - no? Why this man or woman write such a thing? Please excuse my English. I do not understand - so Mobi man is live, and this all just joke? Shame on this person for making such joke.
Quite amazing, really it is.
When I read his headlines last night, I simply laughed, asked what his intent was, and thought to myself…this may end up in self destruct mode (delete, delete, delete).
So Owen does not want to hear of the success of established .mobi sites from corporations, he wants to hear from INDIVIDUALS, like me, who have met HIS criteria for calling it a success.
I hardly think the opinion of one blogger, whether it is Owen, Sahar, Frank, or even myself, or the opinions of several bloggers equates to success or failure of anything.
The message is being lost in all the shananagins and games that he wants to play along with losing credibility. Not a healthy prospect at all. The only ones that seem to be debating all of this are domainers among domainers.
I really hate to be the one to break the news to everyone, but the likes, dislikes, tastes, wants, needs, global commerce, technology, and connectivity issues does not evolve around the opinions of domainers.
The consumer will have the final say.

So prove that consumers have said yes by showing Frager the money. The guy is insane but so is all this double talk and dancing around the issue that you can’t demonstrate a dollar’s profit with your coveted extension.
Is limey-head cat on this page the one guilty of writing false story about Mobi Man suicide? If so, this is bad cat. This cat is not very nice. Cats can be nice, but not this limey-head cat that writes terrible story about Mobi suicide. This limey-head cat needs better education. This limey head cat looks like angry. Maybe that why limey head cat write false stories and make people sad. I do not like this limey cat. Bad cat. Bad!
