Via Inside Google:
* GTaxes.com - Google doing some sort of financial management/tax preparation service?
* Foogleaddon.com - Foogle? FirefoxGoogle?
* GoogleSecret.com - I’m thinking Google lingerie
* NoLimitDVD.com - What could Google possibly need that for? Are we seeing a big hint to a future service?
* androidalliance.com, androiddevices.com, androidfederation.com, androidhandset.com, androidphone.com,
* androidsdk.com, androidsoftware.com and many others - Google finally putting the sites for its secret Android project in its own name, now that the news is out.
More about this here.
I planned to write about it since the last couple of days, the competitive advantage you can get from spying someone’s DNS is enormous. A good place to start is DomainTools “Name Server Spy“.
What is “Name Server Spy”?
Name Server Spy is Domain Tools new, powerful name server monitoring technology that lets you monitor the daily activity of .com, .net, .org, .biz, .us, and .info domains on any name server under 50,000 domains.
Monitors come to you by a daily email with a list of changes for the previous day. You can adjust when emails are sent and what data it contains.
And as for the above Google’s domains, notice NoLimitDVD.com. Unless they work with Master P on some project (highly unlikely), my guess is it shows how much respect they have for the rights of others when registering domain names for future projects.
Maybe, just maybe, Percy can get Google to say No, No, Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na..
Talking about Master P, he is the coolest. Spoke with him in 2000 by email after finding his info on WHOIS for a domain and advising him he should get NoLimit.com (he still hasn’t, PPC parked domain). We chatted about domains for a little while, and before releasing Lil Romeo new album, he sent me a copy of a potential cover to ask what I thought about it. Downside with Percy, in emails, he writes as he talks, you know, with lots of slang. Can never get used to it.

Hi,
Always nice to seeing Google working on everything other than ‘Internet search’.
Might check and see if they have registered: MSapplegoo.com yet…because that’s what they are striving to become.
Peace and Happy Thanksgiving to Sahar and his blog visitors.
