Interesting Inquiries For Domain Purchases

Over the years we’ve talked to many world and industry leaders, people who emailed us to ask about our domains.
Here’s a short list from memory:

Master P, Don Lapre, Bill Cosby, Jesse Rasch, Suranga Chandratillake, Snoop Dogg, and a number of political figures I rather not mention by names here.

How did they find us? All through WHOIS or our pages (”contact us” form), no advertising whatsoever. This is simply the added benefit of owning prime domain names, as others realize their value.

From all those I mentioned above, we only sold to one many years ago.

  1. 1 Basicity

Wonder if you would share some best practices for handling email inquiries for domain purchases. For example, do you reply back indicating your asking price? or do you ask for a “best offer”. I have been using the latter and almost all of the initial offers are ridiculously low. So when that happens what’s the best approach to further the negotiation? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

We’re not in the business of selling domains, can’t be of much help here as we usually do not answer such inquiries.
